Hair 1979
Claude, who comes from Oklahoma to New York, befriends a group of hippies and falls in love with Sheila, a rich family girl based on the iconic Broadway musical Hair that broke the taboos of the 60s. When Claude is drafted to go to Vietnam, their happy days come to a quick end. This musical, based on Milos Forman’s “The Cuckoo”, pays tribute to the flower children who changed their minds in the late 60s by focusing on Vietnam, sexual revolution, feminism, drugs, and political protests.
