Rick and Fred are two friends who have been married for a long time. They love their wives but, like some other men, they can’t help but look at other women they come across. Tired of this usual eye-wandering behavior, their wives decide to revitalize their marriages and give their husbands a “hall pass” – a week where they can do whatever they want without any questions asked. They have seven days to see if they miss what they think they’re missing or to put an end to this search forever. Initially, it seems like a dream come true for Rick and Fred. However, they soon realize that their fantasies are far from the reality of their lonely lives and the expectations they have of themselves are completely, even ridiculously, off track. Owen Wilson plays Rick, Jason Sudeikis plays Fred, Jenna Fischer plays Rick’s wife Maggie, Richard Jenkins plays Coakley – their long-time and single friend, and Christina Applegate plays Fred’s wife Grace in The Hallway, the new comedy by the Farrelly brothers.
