When we think of freedom, one of the first names that comes to mind is Harriet Tubman. The movie follows the historical event where Tubman’s determination and courage led to the liberation of hundreds of slaves. After escaping from slavery, Tubman became one of the greatest heroes in the United States, inspiring a growing number of anti-slavery activists until it escalated into a civil war.
