George is an American working-class man with special abilities related to the afterlife that he has had since childhood. Marie is a French journalist whose world was shattered by a near-death experience in a car accident. Marcus, living in London, has lost someone very close to him. These three individuals desperately seek answers about what happens after death, and their lives intersect as they search for the truth. Their beliefs about what comes after death will be forever changed.
