We learned in the first movie that Dracula only opened his hotel to monsters. However, as events unfold, he starts accepting humans as guests as well. When Johnny and Mavis visit their human relatives, Dracula and his monster friends come up with a plan to send Dennis to a training camp. Just as the training begins, Dracula’s old-fashioned and elderly father Vlad pays a visit to the hotel. When Vlad learns that his grandson is half human and that humans are now welcome at the hotel, things take a complicated turn.
