The series follows generations of Targaryens after Aegon, depicting their struggles for power and the infamous civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. This new Game of Thrones prequel explores the history of Westeros, the founding of the Seven Kingdoms, and the tumultuous history of the Targaryen family.
