I Am Sam 2001
Sam Dawson (Sean Ping) is a man who lives happily with his daughter and is a big fan of The Beatles. A young man with an IQ equivalent to that of a 7-year-old doesn’t bother them much. His daughter, who is now 7 years old, starts experiencing real problems. She is much more advanced than she is and there is little Sam can do to help her. Government officials take his daughter away from Sam and he hires lawyer Rita Harrison (Michelle Pfeiffer), who is far from understanding the meaning of the word “love”, to get her back.
