Keith Reddy, a finance expert at the peak of his career managing businesses in 9 different countries, is a married father of two children. His wife Kate takes care of the household and the kids. However, when Keith realizes that he can’t sleep at night, constantly worrying about what needs to be done at home and at work, he comes to the realization that he is taking on too much and missing out on enjoying the good things in life. Sarah Jessica Parker, Greg Kinnear, and Pierce Brosnan star in a cleverly told comedy about modern working mothers juggling home, work, and personal life. Directed by Douglas McGrath, the film is based on a play shown on Socar in 1994, adapted for the big screen by Elin Brosh McKenna from Allison Pearson’s novel of the same name. Pearson and McKenna also served as co-producers of the film.
