I Origins 2014
A young editor and director, Mike Cahill, wrote the screenplay and then took over the director’s chair for the drama and science fiction film I Origins, which had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2014, and was well received. The film stars young actor Michael Pitt and Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead series. The beautiful Spanish actress Astrid Bergès-Frisbey also stars in the film. With a rating of 7.3 out of 10 from 9236 votes, I Origins is quite impressive. The film follows a group of scientists specializing in biology whose molecular research takes on an incredible dimension and leads them to some findings that will profoundly affect humanity.
