Shy and reclusive Christian starts working at a supermarket after losing his job. Bruno, from the beverage aisle, takes him under his wing and becomes his friend with his fatherly attitude. He shows him the ropes and patiently teaches him how to operate the forklift. There, he meets Marion. He is instantly captivated by the woman’s mysterious charm. The coffee machine becomes their regular meeting spot, and they start to get to know each other. But Marion is married, and Christian’s feelings for her, especially when Marion doesn’t show up for work one day, seem to go unrequited. Christian slowly becomes a member of the work family and the days he spends there start to hold much greater significance than just working. The 2018 German film “In the Aisles” is directed by Thomas Stuber and falls under the drama genre. The film has won 10 awards.
