The situation is no different in the mafia, where police officers who have been trained in the police force for years infiltrate the mafia to learn the inner workings and become informants. This film, one of the most successful works of Hong Kong cinema in recent years, quickly caught the attention of the American film industry and was remade by Martin Scorsese as “The Departed”.
