The collaboration between Sydney Pollack and Robert Redford is excellent. Both of them clearly understand the hero’s spirit and have created an unforgettable portrait. Jeremiah Johnson is like a friend who is always distant and welcomed. A cinema masterpiece worth revisiting more than once.
