Cameraman Joe Schaeffer, who is not valued, is brutally beaten by office bully Mark McKinney in front of his daughter, leading him on a personal journey of redemption. He starts taking martial arts lessons from a B-movie star. As news spreads that Joe will fight Mark again, people suddenly start to notice and appreciate Joe. Joe, who enjoys the attention, faces some discrimination within the company. Embracing the newfound popularity, Joe begins to prepare for the fight and eagerly awaits the big day.
