Chris Barender (Ryan Reynolds) can’t stay away from the girl he loves, Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart), in the movie. He agrees to just be friends with Jamie, but eventually can’t resist and leaves town to start a new life in a different city. Despite being overweight all his life, he transforms himself in the new city, becoming an athlete, advancing in his career, and winning over the hearts of women. He falls in love with his friend once again. Now it’s time to impress. But our hero doesn’t hold back from messing things up…
