Kate & Leopold 2001
Kate, who doesn’t want to believe that her relationship with her boyfriend Stuart is over, decides to go to Stuart’s house when his persistent calls go unanswered. Instead of finding Stuart, she meets a man named Leopold who dresses like he’s from the 19th century. Leopold, a 19th-century gentleman who has traveled through a time void to the 21st century, begins to question the reality of his experience when he sees the difference between a woman of his time and a woman of his own age. As the 21st century progresses, he adapts to the environment with his wise and visionary attitude and becomes a commercial star. Meanwhile, he and Kate develop a connection, but both deny it. However, over time, this denied closeness becomes real.
