King Arthur 2004
For centuries, historians believed that King Arthur was just a legend and never actually existed. However, at the heart of this legend lies a real hero torn between his personal desires and his duty to his people. Sent to England by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, Arthur’s only goal was to leave England as soon as possible and return to the peace and tranquility of Rome. But before he could depart, he had one final mission to fulfill – a rescue operation with his trusted companions, the Knights of the Round Table: Lancelot, Galahad, Bors, Tristan, and Gawain.
With Rome’s departure, England needed a leader to fill the void. This new leader must not only defend the country against the threat of Saxon invasion but also usher in a new era for his people. With the support of his old foe Merlin and the brave Guinevere, Arthur found the power to change the course of history.
