Nóz w wodzie 1962
Polish couple Andrzej and Christina take a young hitchhiker they meet on the road on a boat trip. Andrzej, who is trying to impress Kristina, can’t help but belittle the handsome young man, sparking a sexually charged power struggle of class and jealousy between a discontented woman, a stubborn man, and a handsome stranger. Polanski’s first and only Polish film, Knife in the Water, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
