Allison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is a 24-year-old magazine journalist who lives life to the fullest. However, one drunken night with the irresponsible Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) leads to an unwanted pregnancy, throwing her life off track. Faced with the dilemma of raising her baby alone or getting to know the father better, Allison decides to give the young man a chance, even though it may seem a bit foolish.
