Jeanne is preparing for her wedding and looking for a house to settle down with her future husband. One day, while visiting a house she really likes, she meets a strange and peculiar man. Paul is older than her and unlike any man she has ever known. Despite their age difference, they are drawn to each other and start a relationship.
For a long time, they agree to meet only under the roof of this house to be together, without asking any questions about each other’s outside lives. This is a condition set by Paul for their relationship to continue. However, Jeanne’s vibrant youth clashes with Paul’s pessimistic soul, making it difficult for them to adhere to the strict rules they have set.
