Law Abiding Citizen 2009
Shelton is the sole survivor of a robbery in which his wife and child were killed. Fueled by a desire for revenge, he takes justice into his own hands. When the killers are caught, prosecutor Nick Rice offers one of them a reduced sentence in exchange for testifying against his partner. Ten years later, the partner is murdered and Shelton confesses to the killing. He warns Nick that unless the flawed justice system is fixed, everyone involved in his family’s case will die. Shelton begins orchestrating brutal assassinations, causing fear and chaos in the city. Nick is the only one who can stop him.
