Legend of the Lost 1957
Paul Bonnard (Rossano Brazzi) grows up reading his father’s diaries and listening to his adventures, leading him to embark on a journey to find his father’s bones in the Sahara desert and uncover the mysterious treasures of the lost city of Ophir. He travels to Africa, specifically Timbuktu, in search of this lost city. Along the way, he meets Joe January (John Wayne), a guide who knows the Sahara desert like the back of his hand. Eventually, they are joined by Dita (Sophia Loren), a scientist conducting research in Timbuktu, particularly in the field of thievery. Together, they navigate the challenges and dangers of the desert in pursuit of their goals.
