Life Is Beautiful (1997) is a tragicomedy set during World War II, starring Italian comedian Roberto Benigni as Guido, a man who moves from a small town to Tuscan and meets Dora, a teacher. After being imprisoned in a concentration camp, Guido uses a perfect blend of willpower, humor, and imagination to protect his son from the dangers surrounding their camp.
