Life 1999
In 1932 Harlem, pickpocket Ray Gibson is spying on his next target, Claude Banks, at Swanky’s Club. When he steals his wallet, Claude is a bankrupt banker who he thinks has enough money to pay off Swanky’s debts. They head south to pay off the debt, but end up getting arrested for murder after playing sheriff in a small town and are sentenced to life in prison. Over the next 60 years, they experience many events that change them and form a close friendship. Throughout their prison life, they hope to one day be released again.
