Lila, Lila 2009
In this film adapted from a novel by Martin Suter, young and shy waiter David falls in love with the beautiful Marie but lacks the courage to make the first move. To get her attention, he gives her a handwritten novel. Marie loves the novel and sends it to a publisher. The book, titled “Lilac, Lilac,” becomes a bestseller, but the real problem is that David didn’t write it. The handwritten copy was found at the Junk Dealer Wanderer. The real author of the book takes steps to pressure the fraud David.
