Lilya, who lives in a suburb of the Soviet Union with her aunt, is only 16 years old. Her mother disappeared, leaving Lilya behind. Lilya falls in love with a Swedish guy named Andrei and decides to run away with him. Coming to a whole new country to get her life in order and live a happy life, Lily will search for her old life with a candle.
