In this action-packed thriller, Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a soldier who is forced to join the ranks of modern-day gladiators fighting to the death to please the wealthy. After learning that his brother has been injured in Los Angeles, Legionnaire Lyon escapes from the French Foreign Legion in a remote location in North Africa. In order to earn the money he needs to help his brother, Lyon must evade two legionnaire guards tasked with bringing him back at all costs, enter the underground arena of street fights, and emerge victorious in this no-holds-barred competition.
