Manhattan Night is a film based on Colin Harrison’s highly acclaimed novel Manhattan Nocturne. It tells the story of a journalist named Porter Wren who writes about murders, tragedies, and anything that goes beyond the truth. He is a devoted family man with a loving wife at home. However, when a seductive stranger asks him to investigate an unsolved murder, he cannot resist. In this modern take on classic film noir, we witness Porter’s descent into a dark sexual obsession and a blackmail scheme that threatens his job, marriage, and life. Manhattan Night was released in theaters by Lionsgate Premiere on May 20th.
