Memphis Belle 1990
Memphis Belle is the most famous warrior of World War II because it is the first bomber aircraft to survive all 25 sorties during the war. During that time, 80% of the bomber aircraft heading to Europe were shot down. The crew’s morale was very low, but they managed to successfully return home from all missions. Memphis Belle destroyed many targets in 25 sorties and dropped 60 tons of bombs on Germany, France, and Belgium. This ultimately ended World War II and became a legend. It is currently on display in Memphis, USA.
