Consistently ranking high in polls, he met a glorious end under intense police fire at close range in the heart of Paris. His legendary status was cemented with his death, and 30 years later, the Jacques Mesrine legend still lives on, with his life being brought to the big screen for the first time in a passionate project that blends thriller and biography genres. The project aimed to align as much as possible with historical facts, without trying to create a superhero out of Mesrine. The film paints a portrait of the character, including his darkest aspects, starting from the man behind the icon.
