Successful scientists Susan Tyler and Dr. Peter Mann work together in New York to eliminate a contagious disease threatening children’s lives. Dr. Tyler creates DNA of different species against the carrier of the disease. She names this new species the Judas breed and Dr. Mann’s assistant introduces it to all of New York. In the film “Mimic,” which depicts the confrontation between nature and humanity in the unstoppable development of science and technology, Oscar-winning young actress Mira Sorvino plays the lead role. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro from the Tarantino team, the film serves as a terrifying message to humanity that disrupts the balance of nature in the name of civilization.
