Minuscule: La vallée des fourmis perdues 2013
A young couple’s peaceful picnic in a beautiful forest is cut short when the woman goes into labor and a storm approaches. They hastily leave, leaving behind food and scraps for the ants and other creatures living in the forest. A ladybug, new to the world, is still learning to fly and explores the forest. As it discovers the dangers lurking in the forest, it accidentally finds the picnic area and takes refuge in a sugar container to escape the rain. When it wakes up in the morning and sees all the different creatures, including a group of ants drawn to the food, the ant leader orders them to take the sugar container. The ladybug, along with the sugar container, is now on the move… Meanwhile, the red ants, rivals of the black ants, capture a small black ant, leading to a new adventure.
