In the excavation of a cemetery outside of Rome, an ancient ship is discovered. Believed to have been used to store the ashes of the dead in a coffin-like structure, the mysterious vessel is opened by art student Sarah Mandy, unleashing the third witch Mater Lacrimarum who spreads evil and chaos. As the powerful and terrifying witch wreaks havoc in the city, Sarah Mandy, with her extraordinary abilities, is the only one who can save Rome from destruction.
