Average father Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is an extraordinary dad who decides to spend more time with his children. When he learns that his ex-wife (Sally Field) needs a housekeeper, he immediately applies for the job. With a perfect wig, minimal makeup, and a wardrobe suitable for any occasion, Mrs. Doubtfire is hired as a dedicated English nanny. He creates a whole new life with his entire family.
