Mudbound 2017
In Mississippi, Laure struggles to raise her children on her husband’s farm, feeling like an outsider and fearful of her surroundings. As family tensions simmer, two men return from war to work on the farm as laborers, one of them being Jamie Mcallan, the handsome and charming brother-in-law. Ronsel, a war hero, also returns with Jamie, having seen the brutality of war firsthand. Amidst growing racial tensions in their community, another war seems to be on the horizon.
