My Own Private Idaho 1991
Two friends living on the streets embark on a journey to find themselves. Mike, who often suffers from sleepless nights, imagines himself chasing after his missing mother on the roads that lead nowhere. His closest friend Scott, despite coming from a wealthy family, chooses a life on the streets to rebel against his family. The two young men find themselves navigating a world filled with drug addicts, thieves, and traders. Starting their adventure on a motorcycle from the Pacific shores, they end up in Rome. This film, a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare’s IV. Henry, brings a fresh perspective with its vibrant and poetic cinematic language.
