Mysterious Island 1961
During the American Civil War, a group of Northern soldiers captured as prisoners manage to escape from captivity using a hot air balloon, but a storm forces them on an uncontrollable journey. After about a week of traveling, they reach a tropical island where they encounter a great adventure. This island, where Captain Nemo has implemented fantastic ideas, is a place where normally harmless animals have turned into giant monsters… Adapted from the classic adventure story of the same name by Jules Verne and Ray Harryhausen.
