Naked Singularity 2021
Naked Singularity is a film written by former Manhattan District Attorney Sergio De La Pava, who has first-hand knowledge of daily justice experiences in city courtrooms. The film is described as a “genre-bending” with a sharp language about the dysfunction of the legal system and an entertaining, high-stakes heist. Casi (John Boyega) is a promising young NYC public defender who tries to fix the idealism of the justice system crumbling under daily injustices. Casi, who suspects everything he works for and sees signs of a collapsing universe around him, is drawn into a dangerous and high-stakes drug heist by an old client (Olivia Cooke) who uses the corrupt system to her advantage.
