No Way Out 1987
Defense Secretary David Bryce (Hackman) has a mistress named Susan Atwell (Young). Tom Farrell (Costner) works for Secretary Bryce at the Pentagon, and the two of them attended an official dinner where they met. Despite having a relationship with Susan, Tom was aware of her relationship with his boss. Unfortunately, Susan died in an accident after being suspected of cheating by her boss. Bryce claims that Susan had a secret boyfriend from the KGB who was supposedly the one who killed her. Assistant Tom Farrell is tasked with solving the case, and Bryce has to try to avoid being implicated in a conspiracy against him.
