Christina Noble is a well-known woman worldwide for her charity work with street children in Vietnam. Director Stephen Bradley brought a true story to the screen and also created the film’s narrative. Christina lost her mother at the age of 10 and had a difficult childhood. Her father, unable to care for her and her three siblings, sends them to an orphanage. She is raped at a young age and her baby is taken from her against her will and given up for adoption. She later marries and has three children. When the Vietnam War breaks out, she is deeply affected and in 1989, she sets out for Vietnam. She begins to fight to establish a foundation to help street children and struggling families….
