Almanya, 1936 yazı: Tony and Andi, childhood friends, have a special interest in the Eiger, the northern side of which is still unclimbed and also known as the “dead side”. The two friends still believe they can do it, and if they succeed, they will not only achieve the social recognition they desire but also win an Olympic gold medal. As they prepare on the north face, they meet Louise, the first woman Tony has ever loved. Journalist Luiza, dedicated Nazi reporter Arau, is here to cover Tony and Andi’s case. The fire between them reignites, but Louise also becomes interested in Arau. Tony is desperate as they begin to climb the northern side with the Austrian Willy and the north side they met with Andy. At first, everything goes well and progresses quickly. Spectators on the terrace of the Grand Hotel on the Eiger slope, international press, and finally Louise, who realizes that the only man is Tony himself, eagerly watch four climbers through their telescopes. But the situation is out of control for the climbers: the weather changes, Willy is injured. Suddenly, the mountain seems to be winning again. And in a dramatic fight for survival on the north face, Louise sets out to save the love of her life. A race against time and the forces of nature has begun.
