Katherine Morland is given the opportunity to live with the wealthy Allen family. She enjoys reading books and other activities with them. She meets Eleanor’s brother Henry Tilney and is invited to Northanger Abbey, hoping for a romance to blossom. However, she soon learns that materialism is more important to some people.
