In the middle of the 30s, Till Reiners, a regular bank clerk, leads a mundane life. However, everything changes when the newly released con artist Nappo takes Till hostage for a robbery. When Nappo’s car breaks down, he decides to leave Till in the trunk and disappear. But things take a different turn as Till and Nappo end up fleeing together. Realizing they get along very well, the duo, despite being fugitives, enjoy the taste of living a free life.
