In the Hungarian film “On Body and Soul”, a story of uncertain love is portrayed in the daily lives of people. The film explores the duality of sleep and wakefulness, matter and mind. Endre is a finance manager at a slaughterhouse company, leading a quiet life. Maria, a new employee at the company, is extremely antisocial. Despite his introverted nature, Endre is attracted to Maria but can’t bring himself to confess his feelings. When the company psychiatrist notices that Endre and Maria are having the same dreams, he introduces them, sparking a strange relationship between the two.
