On the Waterfront 1954
In 1954, a legendary film won 8 Oscars and nearly swept all the awards, giving Marlon Brando his second Oscar. Terry Mallon, a former boxer turned dockworker, is unhappy with his life. His boss Johnny Friendly is running illegal activities under the guise of the Longshoreman’s Union. When Terry witnesses the murder of his childhood friend on Johnny’s orders, he finds himself in trouble. With no support from his family, Terry rallies all the workers to start a massive rebellion.
