One Day 2011
Emma (Anne Hathaway) is a principled and ambitious girl from a working-class family who dreams of making the world a better place. Dexter (Jim Sturgess) is a morally bankrupt wealthy man whose dream is to turn the world into a playground. These two opposites meet on their graduation day and form a lifelong friendship after a day spent together. Over the years, we see glimpses of their relationship on July 15th, sometimes together, sometimes apart. However, what they are looking for is always by their side as they navigate through joys and struggles, hopes and losses over the course of 20 years, the true meaning of that unforgettable day they met will be revealed.
