One for the Money 2012
Katherine Heigl stars as the female lead in the film based on Janet Evanovich’s detective novel series Stephanie Plum. Directed by Julie Ann Robinson, the movie follows Stephanie, a proud woman from New Jersey who is in desperate need of quick cash. She convinces her cousin to hire her as a bounty hunter for his bail bond company. Her first target is Joe Morelli, a former cop suspected of murder and with whom she has a complicated past. Stephanie soon realizes that things are not as simple as they seem, as she finds herself getting mixed up in unexpected situations with Morelli. When Morelli finally catches up to her, he starts to develop feelings for her.
