The film “Our Mothers” is about a young anthropologist named Ernesto Adli who works in forensic medicine, identifying missing persons. When he discovers a clue that could lead him to his missing father, despite his mother’s objections, he embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about his family’s past in the aftermath of the Guatemalan civil war that claimed the lives of over 20,000 people.
