Outlaw King 2018
During the Scottish occupation of the Middle Ages, the relentless struggle of Robert the Bruce against King Edward I of England and the sacrifices he made are depicted in the drama, biography, and action genre film Outlaw King, directed by David Mackenzie. In the early 1300s, Robert initiates an honorable fight against England for Scotland’s independence and eventually earns the title of Scottish king. However, he is not on the throne and under the watchful eye of King Edward I.
