An old fox spirit escapes from an ice prison and embarks on a challenging journey to become human, forming a bond with a princess who wants to marry a noble to save her falling kingdom. The evil fox spirit Xiaowei, imprisoned for centuries, gains her freedom and plans to maintain her beauty by seducing and causing pain to men. If a human loves her unconditionally, she will attain immortality to escape from the underground and live among humans. Meanwhile, Princess Jing, with dark clouds looming over her kingdom, flees while concealing her deep wounds with a mask, seeking to regain the love of her former guardian.
