Clint Eastwood takes a break from Western films and returns to action with his production company Malpaso Company. He plays a typical “man with no name” role in a Western film, standing up against the powerful forces oppressing his people. When the city’s strong players hire expert snipers to stop Eastwood from a distance, things get even more complicated. Despite its slow development, Rider is another expertly crafted Eastwood Western with a masterful ending.
